エリ蚕という野生種の蚕の繭から紡がれ 餌の葉の色素が赤橙色に現れるシルク糸
自然の色を生かした糸を撚って使うことで 染色による繊維の傷みを極力抑えた

No silkworms are killed in the production of Eri silk as
it is spun from cocoons after the silkworms have left.
It is red orange in colour due to the pigments in the leaves the silkworms eat.
The pullovers use a mix of Eri silk and cashmere spun at Biagioli mill in Italy
and are available in two colours: an orange one uses undyed cashmere,
and a yellow one uses vegetable-dyed lemon-colored cashmere yarn.
